My friend Liz and I took a little break from the 2º weather yesterday and escaped to the Garfield Park Conservatory—a tropical refuge in my own backyard.
The whole adventure was Liz's idea: find a backdrop for her portrait session. After spending the day before out in the snow with Curio for their photo shoot, the plant-friendly indoor mist at the conservatory was like heaven.
So, I went somewhere, too. No comparison to Mexico, I'm sure, but I make do.
